The Mighty Oak Players will be holding auditions for Evita by Andrew Lloyd Weber directed by Jennifer Alagna, Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th, 7-9 pm at the Monroe Twp. High School Performing Arts Center – 200 Schoolhouse Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Callbacks: Friday, May 16th, 7-9 pm. Show dates:  July 25th – 27th and August 1st – 3rd. The director is seeking performers of all ethnicities ages 8 and up to be part of an ensemble cast.  Seeking Eva, plays 20-30, belt-mix; Che, plays 20-30, rock tenor; Peron, plays 35-50, legit bari-tenor;  Magaldi, plays 25-35, legit tenor; Peron’s Mistress, plays 17-22, soprano; male and female singer/dancers to play featured roles/ensemble.  Also seeking children ages 8-12.  “EVITA” is a heavy ensemble show, and ensemble is onstage throughout most of the show.  Ability to read music is a plus.  Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre piece in the style of the show.  An accompanist will be provided.  Contact Jen via email with any questions at jalagna@monroe.k12.nj.us

OPEN MIC PEFORMERS • WEST WINDSOR ART CENTER
Singers, comics, poets and other individuals and groups with a talent to share are invited to participate in an open mic event at the West Windsor Arts Center.  Open Mic Nights occur on the first Friday of every month, October through May, from 7—9pm.
