Tina Kelley is on the staff of Covenant House, where she is cowriting
a book about homeless teenagers, Almost Home: Helping
Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope, to be published by Wiley
on October 1. Her first book of poems, The Gospel of Galore,
(Word Press, 2003) won a Washington State Book Award, and her
second book, Precise, will be published by Word Press in
December 2012. She was a reporter at The New York Times for ten
years, won a fraction of a Pulitzer Prize for being a part of the
Times’ coverage of the Sept. 11 attacks, and wrote 121 “Portraits of Grief,” short descriptions of the victims. She lives with herhusband and two children in Maplewood.

George Witte has published two books of poems, The Apparitioners (2005) and Deniability (2009), both available from Orchises Press. New poems from a third collection in progress have appeared recently in 32 Poems, Able Muse, Antioch Review, Measure, The Yale Review, and other journals. A native of Madison, New Jersey, he lives in Ridgewood.
