EXHIBIT 1—HISTORIC NEW JERSEY
JANUARY 17 – MARCH 31, 2014
In recognition of the 350th anniversary of our state, the 2014 juried shows will celebrate New Jersey. For this show, works that evoke important people, places and events of New Jersey’s past are solicited. Historic buildings and communities, such as Allaire Village and Batsto, battlefields and reenactments, inventions, and famous individuals are all appropriate subjects.

With its 130 miles of coastline, rivers and lakes, marshes and pinelands and many state and national parks, it is one of the most biologically diverse states in the country. In recognition of the 350th anniversary of our state, the 2014 juried shows will celebrate New Jersey. New Jersey is among the most ethnically diverse states in the country. Appropriate work for this show will include people, places or things that reflect any one (or more) of the cultures present in the Garden State.
