Tom is a Past President of the Ocean County Camera Club and Region Director of the Photographic Society Of America.
He was won numerous state and international awards for his work during the last 10 years including:
Best of Show Nature, Color Print Gold Medal and Popular Vote Winner – New England Camera Club Council.
Gold Medal winner, Quarterly Competition for Creativity – Electronic Imaging Division – Photographic Society of America.
In 2010 he traveled to Vietnam to capture many remote areas including the Black Hmong tribe. The year 2011 found Tom and his wife Elaine taking photographic trips to Poland and Mongolia. He judged the national finals for the Photographic Society of China in Beijing and is scheduled to present to numerous groups on digital painting including the New England Camera Club Council in Amherst for 2012.
Tom has just received word he is finalist (top three) for the Guru Award 2013. The award will be presented April 17th when the winners are announced at thePhotoshop World Conference in Orlando. The website for this honor states, “the Guru Awards have now become the most prestigious and coveted awards in the international digital imaging industry”. His winning image is in the “Artistic” category.
